At the heart of our culinary haven lies a deep commitment to family values and the nurturing of our children, Gino and Ilaria. As dedicated homeschooling parents, we firmly believe that education extends beyond textbooks, classrooms, and the confines of traditional schooling. Our children are not just our inspiration but integral members of our Di Rita's family, infusing our restaurant with their boundless curiosity, infectious laughter, and appetite for learning. With their presence shaping the very fabric of our establishment, we are delighted to announce some heartfelt adjustments.
At the heart of everything we do here at Di Rita's is our genuine care for you. With many foods now being heavily processed, we embarked on a mission to preserve the authenticity and integrity of traditional cuisine. We firmly believe that you deserve to enjoy real food without compromise, free from artificial chemicals and preservatives.
In our continuous efforts to provide exceptional dining experiences while prioritising our family's well-being and nurturing our children's education, we are excited to announce some adjustments to our operating hours and offerings. This revised schedule allows Andrew and myself to focus our energies on sourcing and maximising the quality of the exquisite Italian ingredients we proudly bring to your table, while also nurturing our children's education and fostering a sense of community through our restaurant.
Starting from next Wednesday 22nd May, we will be implementing new opening hours to better align with our family's homeschool journey and the rich culture surrounding good food and connections that we've cultivated through our restaurant. Here's what you can expect:
Wednesday: Opening at 4:00 PM serving our main menu food & drinks all afternoon and evening (incl takeaways)
Thursday & Friday: Opening at 12:00 PM serving our main menu food & drink all afternoon & evening (incl takeaways)
Saturday: Unchanged, continuing with all-day and evening dining from 10:00 AM (incl take away)
Looking ahead to September, our schedule will further evolve to reflect our unwavering commitment to family and community. From September, our hours from Wednesday to Friday will shift to opening at 4:00 PM into all evening serving our main menu with Saturdays remaining unchanged for all-day dining. You can also choose to dine in The Da Vinci Dining Room with the same menu.
Our decision to adjust our hours is deeply rooted in our commitment to our family and allowing our children to enhance their passions, gain invaluable lessons in entrepreneurship, cultural appreciation, and the importance of nourishing both body and soul with wholesome food.
Furthermore, our restaurant serves as a hub for fostering meaningful connections within our community. We firmly believe that good food has the power to bring people together, creating bonds and memories that transcend the dining table. Whether it's sharing stories over a hearty meal, enjoying live music performances, or exploring the flavours of our offerings, Di Rita's is more than just a place to eat – it's a place to connect, to celebrate, and to savour life's simple pleasures.
In addition to these adjustments, we are thrilled to share some exciting events and offerings on the horizon:

🛍️ Online Deli Shop: Conveniently shop for our authentic Italian ingredients online, ready for pickup after work to simplify your dinner preparations (if you are not dining in with us!)
🧀🍷 Artisan Evenings: Indulge in unforgettable cheese, wine, and art evenings, celebrating the finer things in life.

We are also due to open our Garden again for the Summer!
We are also delighted to announce that we are continuing with our GIFT2024 promotion throughout the month of June when you quote GIFT2024 you can enjoy Any Pizza Any Pasta for only £10 Wednesday and Thursday.
